"Fractured Panorama": pre-critique

My idea was to show the progression of the seasons as time went on. Starting with winter from the left and going into summer on the right. From top to bottom is supposed to represent life to death/decay. Fallen leaves and mushrooms help convey the final stages of decomposition on the forest floor.

Suggested I add more depth and contrast to the main flowers.
